LEWISBURG – Another big downtown party is coming up in Lewisburg. Bucknell University and the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership will host the inaugural Community International Festival on Saturday, September 21 during Bucknell’s Family Weekend.
Organizers say the event will transform downtown Lewisburg into a vibrant celebration of global cultures with food vendors, performances, and displays from community groups and international student organizations. State College’s Eric Ian Farmer and Friends will perform at the new Hufnagle Park Pavilion at 12:30pm.
Lewisburg mayor Kendy Alvarez says the festival, supported by the Degenstein Foundation and many other community partners, aims to strengthen town/gown relationships, enhance workforce recruitment efforts, and celebrate diversity as a cornerstone of community resilience and growth.
