MONTOURSVILLE – A bridge replacement project in Snyder County will result in a six week detour starting next week. A bridge on Little Mexico Road in Jackson Township is structurally deficient and must be replaced.
Work begins Monday, July 11 and crews will demolish the old structure, excavate and rebuild the bridge. A three mile, signed detour will be in place using Ridge Road, County Line Road, and Route 304. The project is expected to be completed in about six weeks with weather permitting. (Alex Reichenbach)
