SUNBURY – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions today, Wednesday, July 26, 2023, on the Route 61 (Veterans Memorial) Bridge in the northbound direction in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County, for bridge flushing.
A Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing on the Veterans Memorial Bridge beginning at 9:00 AM. This will be a moving operation.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and drive with caution through the work zone.
