COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Southern Columbia football team continued its dominance…this time in front of a national audience. The Tigers defeated Hammond High School in South Carolina Sunday 36-0, in a game televised on ESPN2. Southern has now won 33 straight games, and 72nd in the regular season. Hammond had its 25-game winning streak snapped.
Gaige Garcia led the Tigers with two rushing touchdowns. Southern will open its home schedule this Friday night against rival Mount Carmel.
