WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump has been acquitted of the single Article of Impeachment related to the January 6 rioting at the US Capitol. The vote was 43 Senators for conviction, and 57 Senators voting for acquittal. Seven Republican’s voted to convict, falling short of the 17 need for conviction.
