SUNBURY – A bomb threat briefly closed the Northumberland County Courthouse Thursday morning. Northumberland County Communications says the incident was reported just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday. County communications says the county sheriff’s office and probation officers searched the building with assistance from Sunbury police.
All courthouse employees were evacuated safely and returned to work sometime between 9 and 9:15 a.m.
