BLOOMSBURG – Bloomsburg University named their new president Monday, he is Bashar Hanna, currently a professor of biology and the former vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty at Delaware Valley University. He’ll start at Bloomsburg July 7, replacing David Soltz, who is retiring after nearly 10-years at Bloomsburg University.
