LEWISBURG — Two Big Lots stores in the Valley are reopening soon under new ownership. The Lewisburg location on Westbranch Highway reopened May 1, while the Bloomsburg store on Columbia Boulevard is set to reopen May 15.
The openings are part of a national revival led by Variety Wholesalers, which bought over 200 former Big Lots locations after the company filed for bankruptcy last year. More than 125 stores across the country are reopening this month.
The revived stores promise low prices on brand-name items, household essentials, apparel, and more, according to company leadership.
