“Ladies and gentleman, children of all ages, Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey is excited to be here with you in Pennsylvania and to bring you ‘The Greatest Show on Earth!'”

The show featured dancers, contortionists, and, of course, clowns. such as Rosie.

“Getting to come to hospitals every week is honestly one of the best parts of the job. We get to come out and see kids who maybe aren’t well enough to come to the show and sit and see the show, so we bring a little piece of the circus here to them at the hospital.”

About 75 people turned out for the show, including Bobbi Goodwin, mother of four year old patient Cooper.

“It’s been good to get him out of the room and give him a break from all the medicine and all the machines and the beeping. It’s been good for him.”

At the end of the show, the Ringling Brothers presented a check for ten thousand dollars to the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. (Kory Kramer)
