BEAVERTOWN – The Daily Item reports a Beavertown man has been charged with assaulting and threatening to kill his sister. 38-year-old Robert E. Thomas Jr. is accused of strangling his sister during the attack Sunday at a home in Beavertown. Thomas was arraigned on charges of strangulation, terroristic threats and assault. He was jailed on $7,500 bail.
