WBRE/WYOU is reporting….A Columbia County meat market was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon. The fire started around 2:30 p.m. at a butcher shop housed in a barn in Catawissa. The business is located in the 500 block of Pfaler Street. When firefighters arrived the barn was fully engulfed in flames. No people or animals were injured in the fire. The barn is a total loss and a fire marshal will investigate the cause of the fire.
