SUNBURY – A request for bail reduction has been denied for a Sunbury businessman charged with attempted homicide. Northumberland county district attorney Ann Targonski says a bail modification was denied by Judge William Wiest for 63-year-old Bob Snyder, owner of the Squeeze-In and Pop Snyder’s Lunch, both in Sunbury.
Snyder is accused of threatening to shoot and kill his wife Kimberly and himself after a February 4 argument on Packer Island. Bail was set at $300,000. Snyder’s attorney Michael Rudinski requested that the bail be lowered, but Judge Wiest refused the request.
Snyder will remain at SCI Coal Township. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 8 before Judge Charles Saylor. (Ali Stevens)
