TURBOTVILLE — A fire Tuesday morning in Montour County had a large response from volunteer fire companies, with four counties sending crews to the scene. The fire started around 1 a.m. at the David Zimmerman Auto Shop at 115 Gearhart Road in Anthony Township, Montour County, near Turbotville.
About 10 fire companies responded from Montour, Union, Lycoming and Columbia Counties. The auto shop was fully involved in fire when crews arrived on the scene. There were no injuries reported. It is not yet known what caused the fire. The investigation continues. (Ali Stevens)
