EAST CAMERON TWP — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday in Northumberland County. The 47-year-old man from Ashland, identified as Kenneth Weikel, was travelling on Upper Road in East Cameron Township just before 8 p.m. when his motorcycle left the roadway.
The bike travelled nearly 200 feet off the road, striking two trees along the way. Weikel was not wearing a helmet.
