MOUNT CARMEL — An Ashland man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Mount Carmel Tuesday morning. The Daily Item reports police arrested 32-year-old Brandon Brown after searching a home in Schuylkill County.
Brown allegedly entered the BB&T Bank on North Oak Street just after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. He handed a note to a teller demanding money. Police have not yet charged Brown in the robbery , but he was arraigned on drug charges and sent to the Northumberland County wing at SCI-Coal Township on $75,000 bail.
