SELINSGROVE – This week is National Child Passenger Safety Seat and state police are working to make sure all children are properly restrained. Two certified child safety seat checks are scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Snyder County.
On Friday, state police will be at the Hummels Wharf Fire Department on the Old Trail from 2 to 8 p.m. to check child safety seats and booster seats for proper installation. On Saturday, they will be at the Susquehanna Valley Mall in the Boscov’s parking lot from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The events are free to the public and no appointments are necessary. (Ali Stevens)
