POINT TWP – Fire destroyed a garage and an apartment on Ridge Road in Point Township Friday morning.
The two alarm blaze started just after 9 a.m at 3328 Ridge Road. No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
Ridge Road was closed until crews put out all hot spots and PPL secured downed wires. The building was a total loss and no cause for the fire has been found.
Volunteer crews from East End Fire Company, DH & L Fire Company, Northumberland Fire Department, Upper Augusta, Tuckahoe, and Americus Hose Company Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
