DANVILLE – Theft by deception charges are pending against a former Danville business. Rudy’s Mart is under investigation by the Attorney General’s office and another victim has been identified.
State police say a Watsontown resident purchased a dresser, table set, sectional sofa and television stand from Rudy’s Mart and paid $1,908. However Rudy’s Mart failed to deliver the items and when the resident tried to contact them, they had gone out of business. Several other similar incidents have been reported by customers of Rudy’s Mart. (Ali Stevens)
