SUNBURY — Bargains and community support will be on display at the Sunbury Fire Police annual yard sale this week. The event runs Wednesday through Saturday, 9am to 4pm, at the Sunbury Ice Rink on Memorial Drive. Organizer Mary Colyer says shoppers will find everything from household goods and collectibles to a $5 bag sale.
She says they’ll have lots of children’s clothing. Proceeds help pay for uniforms, flashlights, vehicle expenses, and other equipment for the volunteer fire police. Colyer says the sale is a vital fundraiser for one of Sunbury’s important first responder groups, and volunteers are still needed.
