NORTHUMBERLAND – Christmas must be next month…the annual Martin Concini Toy Drive was re-launched Monday. Northumberland police chief Cliff Kriner said they are looking for new, unwrapped toys which will be distributed to children in Northumberland, Point Township and Sunbury.
The toy drive was started by the late Chief Martin Concini Jr. in 1990, it was curtailed after his death in 1992 but was restarted in 1998. Toys can be dropped off at the Northumberland police station or borough office, the Priestley library, Northumberland National Bank, Surplus Outlet, Pineknotter Brewing, On A Roll or Norry Treasures.
