LEWISBURG – You’ll hear ‘An Inconsistent Truth’ Monday in Lewisburg…it’s the video answer to An Inconvenient Truth. It’s part of the next meeting of the Susquehanna Valley Conservatives. Stan Zellers, Susquehanna Valley Conservatives President, says the meeting will include the showing of the movie, An Inconsistent Truth at the Campus Theater Monday.
Zellers says, “We will be showing a film called The Inconsistent Truth which is a rebuttal to the Al Gore movie of several years ago. This is the other side of the story and hopefully we get a large crowd and people can come and view the film and make up their own minds on this issue.”
Susquehanna Valley Conservative Board Member Glen Bayly says the issue of Global Warming has been presented the wrong way, “The issue I think has been presented in a lopsided way. The reason because it’s kind of arrogant to predict what is going to happen 50-100 years from now in terms of the climate when we can’t even get it right two weeks from now.”
He said, “We’re concerned as conservatives that this is going to lead to greater taxation, loss of jobs, restricting of industry in our own country.”
The meeting will be held at The Campus Theatre in Lewisburg starting at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public. They say all points of view are welcomed. Zellers and Bayly were guests on WKOK Sunrise on Thursday. (Emily Engle)
