MIDDLEBURG – Some of the important and new information about modern farming will be presented soon in Snyder County.
The Snyder County Conservation District is set to host an agricultural winter meeting on Friday, February 15 in Selinsgrove. The meeting will be an all day event with presenters from the Dept of Environmental Protection, agricultural and conservation agencies, and from Penn State speaking on a range of topics from attracting natural pollinators to improving your soil biology.
The meeting will be held at the Christ Community United Methodist Church in Selinsgrove from 9am – 3:15pm, doors will open at 8:30am. The meeting with lunch included costs $5 per person. Payments are expected at the door, reservations can be made by calling 570-837-3000 or emailing the Snyder County Conservation District Office at SCCD@Snydercd.org by Friday, February 1.
