AG: Selinsgrove man facing charges in ‘Brass Key’ arson and fraud case

arrest

SUNBURY – The state attorney general’s office says a Selinsgrove man faces 13 felony charges, including burning down the former Brass Key Bar in 2013. The AG’s office says Anthony “Rocco” Sanutti Jr., owner of the former 200 Reagan Street bar, engaged in a series of schemes to resolve financial problems caused by his ownership.

Those schemes include arson and tax and insurance fraud, according to a grand jury indictment. The indictment was filed Thursday with Sunbury District Judge Ben Apfelbaum.

A second defendant, 64-year-old Judy Bingaman,  was charged with three felony counts of criminal conspiracy, theft deception and insurance fraud. She worked at the Brass Kelly Bar  for 23 years and was the bar manager, according to the indictment.
