UPDATE: The Veterans Memorial Bridge is open to traffic again, there are no delays as of noon. Traffic was very slow getting into and out of Northumberland.
SUNBURY/SHAMOKIN DAM – A multi-vehicle accident has partially shutdown the Veterans Memorial Bridge between Sunbury and Shamokin Dam. No traffic is flowing from either side of the bridge Moderate injuries are reported. The collision was head-on. Avoid the area if possible. We’ll have more details when they become available.
