DANVILLE – There was another car crash at Montour County’s most notorious intersection. State police report an accident at the intersection of Route 54 and Route 642 Tuesday afternoon. 77-year-old Patricia Bucher of Lewisburg was waiting to make a left turn from Route 54 westbound onto Route 642.
Bucher turned into the path of a car driven by 35-year-old Amanda Sienkiewicz of Coal Township. Both women were taken to Geisinger Medical Center for treatment. Bucher is listed in serious condition Wednesday. There was no condition available for Sienkiewicz. Police say Bucher has been cited for the accident.
