MONTOURSVILLE – A Montour County road is closed this morning due to a vehicle crash. PennDOT says Route 642 between Klein Road and Landau Road in Valley Township is closed.
A car crash has knocked down a utility pole and wires are across the roadway. State police and utility crews are on the scene. It is expected at least one lane of traffic will be opened this morning with flaggers providing traffic control.
PPL says 475 homes are currently without power in the Danville area as a result of the crash. The company estimates power will be restored by noon Sunday. We will bring you updates as they become available.
