Active Shooter Training Planned At Bloom U Campus
BLOOMSBURG — An active shooter training is planned next week at Commonwealth University’s Bloomsburg campus. Officials say the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania Bloomsburg Police Department will host the training Monday and Tuesday.
Organizers say about 30 law enforcement officers will take part in the exercises, scheduled from 8am to 4pm inside the Bakeless Center. The training is being conducted through the FBI’s Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training program and will include the use of simulated munitions.
