LEWISBURG — A peace vigil focused on democratic accountability is planned in Lewisburg. Organizers say the gathering is meant to encourage civic engagement and public awareness. The usual Peace Vigil will take place from noon to 1pm in front of the Lewisburg Post Office.
Organizers say the event is nonpartisan and peaceful, emphasizing the rule of law, fair elections, and government accountability. Participants are invited to stand silently or hold signs. Organizers say the vigil will proceed rain or shine and is not connected to a national demonstration.
