LEWISBURG — The Union County Historical Society will host a presentation titled “Native Americans of Central Pennsylvania” this Sunday. The discussion is at 1pm in their gallery at 15 N. Water Street, Lewisburg.
Historian Bruce Teeple will lead the program, exploring the history of Indigenous communities in the Susquehanna Valley, the factors driving regional events in the 18th century, and how universities like Cornell and Penn State profited from controversial land acquisitions by the U.S. government.
