NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Get ready for a sweet and fun-filled day at the Second Street Playground in Northumberland this Saturday. From 11 am to 4 pm, Lemonade Day will feature organized games, activities, a balloon artist, a bounce house, pie-eating contests, delicious food, and numerous lemonade stands.
Organizer Noelle Long says this event celebrates young entrepreneurs who impress with creative themes, unique concoctions, and vibrant decorations.
Prizes will be awarded for the best tasting lemonade, best theme, and best-decorated stand. The highlight of the day is the People’s Choice Award, with the winner and seven friends riding in style on the first day of school in a Susquehanna Valley Limousine.
