MILTON — One resident and the administrator at Broadway Manor Assisted Living in Milton have been charged after an alleged assault on a resident. The Standard-Journal is reporting, 60-year-old Mark Snyder faces three counts of misdemeanor indecent assault for allegedly spanking another resident.
Lori Duron, 64, has been charged with failing to report the incident, a violation of mandatory reporting laws. The charges stem from an event between June 22 and June 25, where staff heard noises from a bathroom and discovered Snyder allegedly spanking a resident with diminished mental capacity.
The victim was found with bruises and reported that Snyder had previously touched him inappropriately. Snyder admitted to spanking the resident for eating discarded cigarette butts. He is jailed on $5,000 unsecured bail, with a preliminary hearing set for August 21.
