DANVILLE – One of the regional mental health agencies is observing mental health day by illuminating green lightbulbs around the region. The CMSU, the Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union County agency says May is Mental Health Awareness month and they invite you to ‘shine the light on mental health.’
Their announcement says, ‘We invite everyone to Shine the Light On Mental Health today and through the month of May…The goal is to bring awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health, share their ‘green light’ pictures on social media, and help raise awareness about mental illness.
