DANVILLE – Rex Aux is experiencing a surge in activity in Danville as the Residents Auxiliary (ResAux) continues to provide vital support to Geisinger resident physicians and their families. From organizing events to establishing a network of family supports, ResAux is now expanding its reach with the introduction of a new publication.
“This magazine will serve as a platform to connect with other residents,” said Ivette Bugarini, president of ResAux. “We will be releasing two versions of the magazine: a digital edition, already available on our website, www.residentsauxiliary.com, and a traditional paper magazine accessible to everyone.”
Bugarini highlighted ResAux’s role in providing relocation assistance to incoming families and aiding them in familiarizing themselves with the greater Danville community. Additionally, the organization hosts events and activities tailored to the needs of doctors and their families.
“All physicians, whether they are residents in training or attending physicians, face numerous challenges,” Bugarini explained. “It’s crucial for everyone to understand the sacrifices they make to keep us safe and healthy. They endure long and challenging days that many of us cannot fully comprehend.”
