LEWISBURG — NorthcentralPA.com is reporting… A Union County man gave police a struggle a short time after he was served an emergency Protection From Abuse order. 40-year-old Christopher Polito of the Lewisburg area was arrested after troopers came to his home. He was said to be heavily intoxicated, was taken to the hospital, fled that facility and later fought with police.
Polito is charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and summary public drunkenness. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 7 at the office of District Judge Jeffrey A. Rowe in Lewisburg.
