HARRISBURG – Some of the US Congress members from our area may face opposition in this year’s fall elections.
While there are no republican challengers, the Valley’s 9th District lawmaker Dan Meuser may have a democratic opponent this fall. Amanda Waldman of Montoursville was the lone democrat who filed in the 9th District. They’ve faced each other previously.
Meantime, US Congressman Glenn GT Thompson of Centre County, who represents the 15th District, has no one running in the GOP primary, but this fall he may face Zacheray Womer of Phillipsburg. Thompson defeated Mike Molesevich in the last election..
