LEWISBURG – Remembering fallen heroes is the theme for a Lewisburg 5k race. The 9/11 Heroes Run benefits the Travis Manion Foundation. Jessica Charles, whose brother died in Afghanistan is a local representative of the foundation, “The foundation challenges veterans and families of the fallen to inspire others with Travis’ motto of ‘If not me, then who?’”
The Bucknell wrestling team is spearheading the 9/11 Heroes Run which gets underway Saturday, September 12 from the Pawling Sports Complex on Fairground Road in Lewisburg, “[It’s] a 5k run. It is open to all ages and all athletic abilities.”
