MIFFLINBURG – There was a big response to a crash near Mifflinburg Saturday night; six people were reported injured, and one person was flown to the hospital.
Milton state police are investigating the two-vehicle incident that saw routes 45 and 104 closed for several hours.
Central Susquehanna Regional 9-1-1 said they started dispatching crews to the area of Mensch Road and Route 104 in Limestone Township at 9:40 p.m. More than half a dozen area volunteer services responded to the scene; and arriving responders said both vehicles had passengers trapped inside.
Dispatchers tell us they monitored six people injured, one of whom was flown from the scene by Life Flight.
According to the Union County Firewire, PennDOT had the roads closed soon after 10 p.m. and the roads were reopened after 1am Sunday.
