Motorcycle Crash Leaves Middleburg Man ‘Critical’
SELINSGROVE – More details are out on the critical injuries sustained by a Middleburg man after what state police call a high speed motorcycle crash Monday evening.
It happened near Selinsgrove, troopers say 39-year-old Adam Hummel was speeding west on University Avenue when he went off the road and hit a pole. He was flown to Geisinger and is in critical condition according to a nursing supervisor.
State police say the 11:45pm collision happened near Burgess Avenue, not far from the East Snyder Park.
There were reports of police pursuit but law enforcement isn’t commenting on that.
Life Flight DH & L volunteers and EMS staff, along with other responders were on the scene.
