Evangelical Receiving Another Grant To Expand Efficiency Initiative

LEWISBURG–  Another grant is on its way to a local hospital, thanks to two elected leaders.  The state awarded Evangelical Community Hospital a $400,000 grant to replace a water chilling system with a more efficient model.  This comes on the heels of a $500,000 grant that was received for the same purpose in December.  State Representative Lynda Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) and State Senator Gene Yaw (R-23) announced the grant Friday.  Hospital President and C-E-O Kendra Aucker says the grant will expand the hospital’s Efficiency Initiative, which reduces energy consumption on the hospital’s main campus.
