PAXINOS — Route 61 is back open after one person was taken to the hospital following a accident that blocked the road early Tuesday morning.
Northumberland County Communications says the crash was first reported around 4:45 a.m. along Route 61 between Route 487 and Badman’s Hill Road.
County communications says the accident was between a garbage truck and a bicyclist.
No other details are available at this time. State police are investigating and have no further information at this time.
