ALLENTOWN — PPL reports they have over 8,700 power outages in their entire electric service area, and over 400 outages in The Valley, most of those remaining in Northumberland County. High winds are cited as the reason lines are down in some areas. The utility reports all power in this area should be back on by 11pm Friday.
