DANVILLE- State police said all three monkeys that escaped Friday’s crash on Route 54 have been found. CDC says the monkeys were humanely euthanized.
Police released the names of the drivers and one tractor trailer passenger, who was injured. Geisinger representatives said 59-year-old Daniel Adkins of Florida was treated and released.
Police said 29-year-old Tyler Deeghan of Canton, PA was driving the dump truck that hit the trailer of the Dodge pickup driven by 31-year-old Cody Brooks of Florida.
A tractor-trailer and dump truck crash had closed Route 54 at I-80 in Danville for several hours Friday afternoon and state agencies were searching for monkeys on the loose.

PennDOT reports, Route 54 was reopened at 6:45 p.m. following crash cleanup. Police remained on the scene to search the nearby woods for the lost monkeys well into the evening.
State police say they involved the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
