MOUNT CARMEL – A man is jailed after a stabbing in Mount Carmel. Police there tell us, Shamokin resident 43-year-old Adam Danaher stabbed a man around 11pm Friday. Police said Danaher was on the loose after the stabbing but was captured and jailed on aggravated assault charges Saturday morning.
Geisinger representatives say 49-year-old Patrick Kantane is still in critical condition early Sunday morning.
Mount Carmel police are still investigating the incident and have no further information at this time.
