WASHINGTON, D.C. – After the recent decision by the US Supreme Court to block one of President Biden’s vaccine mandates, US Congressman Dan Meuser (R-9th, Dallas, PA.) says he knew it was ‘overreach.’ Cong. Meuser tells WKOK On The Mark that forcing a mandate on people is not respecting their free choice.
“The idea of mandates, that just drives people crazy because they are not being respected in the manner that they should be. Again, people should be provided the right information, the truth, know what the real situation is, then be able to make those decisions,” he said.
On the other hand, he wishes to remind people about the severity of the virus, “You gotta face the truth. 85% of those who are hospitalized have not been vaccinated; they are nearing a 20% fatality rate for those that are hospitalized.”
