Lewisburg Children’s Museum to Host Launch Party
LEWISBURG – The Lewisburg Children’s Museum will celebrate the deployment of NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, with their Space Explorers: Launch Party.
Set for this Saturday, 10:30am – 12:30pm, the museum is offering a special program that they say will teach STEAM principles, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
In a news release, they say during the event, guests will view NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope. At 11:30pm, Science expert Dr. Joel Leja of Penn State University will conduct a presentation.
The National Informal STEM Education Network Activity will provide stations that will be available throughout the event. Congressman Fred Keller is also expected to make an appearance. The program is free with general admission or membership to LCM and recommended for children 6 and up.
