HARRISBURG — Two teens from Richfield are being called heroes after saving a man who was involved fiery crash. State police say 18-year-old Skylar J. Swartz and 17-year-old Collin Hoffman saved a man’s life by pulling him a burning vehicle in Juniata County.
State Representative John Hershey (R-82, Juniata Co.) said they were giving state house citations for their brave actions that day. The crash was on Route 333 October 27 in Delaware Township.
Rep. Hershey and state police said that the man was very lucky that Skylar and Collin was there when he was, and that they don’t know what may have happened otherwise. Hershey said the actions of the 18-year-old and 17-year-old will long be remembered and appreciated.
