Roving Patrols, Checkpoints Coming To Valley
POTTSVILLE — Roving DUI patrols and sobriety checkpoints will be conducted today through Sunday night. The regional Highway Safety Network says they’ll target some roads in The Valley.
They say state routes targeted in Northumberland County are Routes 61, 225, 125, 54, 487, 901, and 147. Other Valley roadways could also be targeted.
Travelers during the Thanksgiving holiday period should call and report drunk drivers by dialing 911. To report underage drinking call 1-888-under21.
