COAL TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – A few more details are out on the death in Coal Township, Northumberland County. County Coroner James Kelly tells us 61-year-old Sarah Jones of West Hollow Street, Coal Township, died at her home.
He says Jones was pronounced dead in her home at 11:50 a.m. Sunday. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Forensic Pathology Associates in Allentown.
Coal Township Police Department and the Coroner’S Office are continuing the investigation. We told you over the weekend, Jones’s body was found in the home, while a person was taken into custody as well.
Coal Township Police say they filed a drug charge against 39-year-old Christopher Depka, who was in the home during the investigation. Depka was arraigned and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
