‘Clue On Stage’ This Weekend at Shikellamy
SUNBURY – You know the classic board game, and you can see it live at Shikellamy High School this weekend. Shikellamy High School Theatre presents ‘Clue On Stage’ this Thursday-Sunday.
Ellen Boyer is the Director of Theatre and Forensics at Shikellamy, “Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. White and of course, Ms. Scarlett, will be all live on stage. It all takes place in body manner, on a very dark and stormy night, and there’s lots of mystery, lots of suspense, and lots of laughs.”
At the beginning of the show, you may hear some familiar voices set the scene of Washington D.C. in the 1950’s at the height of McCarthyism…That’s right, WKOK Program Director Mark Lawrence plays the newscaster on the radio, and News Director Matt Catrillo plays the voice of Joe McCarthy himself.
Boyer says her theatre students are extremely excited to be performing live on stage again after performing last year’s show via Zoom, “We’ve really missed being together…but to be live in the theatre again and to be able to have that wonderful sense of camaraderie…there’s an amazing group of seniors who are in this show, along with some rising stars in the underclassmen.”
Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at Shikellamy High School. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. For tickets, call 570-286-3760 or email [email protected]. Seating is general admission.
