Central PA Chamber Hosts Congressman Keller at Breakfast
LEWISBURG – President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate got some pushback from the US Congressman today.
Pres. Biden’s mandate will have few exceptions, according to US Congressman Fred Keller (R-12th, Kreamer, Pa.), “The COVID vaccine mandates that are coming from Washington, DC – the one for the employers for 100 employees or more would affect over 80 million Americans and the private-sector employer.”
Cong. Keller addressed members of the Central Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce, “You care about the people who come to work every day. You don’t need the government telling you how to do this. You figured out how to keep your employees safe throughout the pandemic. That’s why I’ve partnered with Senator Braun to repeal that regulation.”
Regarding the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, “They talk about a lot of things that are going to be free. It’s not free, it’s taxpayer funded. We have to be careful about what’s in the program.”
Keller ended saying not everything is doom and gloom. He encouraged those present to, ‘unleash the America spirit.’
